About the conference
Last year’s KazDrilling by KazService conference highlighted key challenges not only in the drilling sector, but also across the entire Upstream industry. Considering the decline in production among subsoil users and analyzing current market conditions, particular attention is being given to enhanced oil recovery, implementation of new technologies for hard-to-recover reserves, discussion of tax incentives, and social issues within the industry.
Following the successful organization of the Kazakhstan Drilling Conference in previous years, KazService is pleased to announce that the III Annual Conference “KazDrilling: Upstream of Kazakhstan” (hereinafter – KazDrilling) is planned to be held on August 28, 2026, in Atyrau, with the support of the Ministry of Energy of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Authorized Body “PSA”, and the National Chamber of Entrepreneurs of the Republic of Kazakhstan “Atameken”.
Following the successful organization of the Kazakhstan Drilling Conference in previous years, KazService is pleased to announce that the III Annual Conference “KazDrilling: Upstream of Kazakhstan” (hereinafter – KazDrilling) is planned to be held on August 28, 2026, in Atyrau, with the support of the Ministry of Energy of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Authorized Body “PSA”, and the National Chamber of Entrepreneurs of the Republic of Kazakhstan “Atameken”.
We plan to discuss the most pressing issues related to geology and mining, study international experience in working with hard-to-recover reserves, discuss the increase in oil recovery coefficient (ORC), the possibility of developing shale oil production, as well as issues of social responsibility and procurement.
The KazDrilling conference will become the largest dialogue platform for drilling market players and will be aimed at discussing and highlighting problematic and technical issues.
The conference will facilitate exceptional networking opportunities among high-ranking officials from government agencies, oil institutions, procurement departments of oil and gas companies, subsoil users, prominent drilling firms, and suppliers in Kazakhstan's oilfield services sector. It will focus on presenting subsoil users' drilling strategies, addressing current industry challenges, showcasing success stories, and discussing the outlook for advancing new technologies.
